Say What? I’ve gotten the opportunity to test out the long awaited Native Instruments Flagship plugin Massive X before it’s release. So, do I love it? Let’s find out in my 20min podcast/review/tutorial thingy.
Now that Stranger Things is back on Netflix, i’ve kind of gotten all vibe’d up in regards to the nostalgic sounds that Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein composed for the series. I found i could create a „Stranger Synths“ type of track using nothing but the Massive X Presets. – Keep in mind though, i recorded this review of Massive X in the Beta version. There have been several updates since then, so now we do have things such as ADSR visual feedback, Dark skins, Preset import etc. Looks like the guys at NI have been pretty busy since the first version, listening to the needs of Massive Fans.

Massive pretty much fueled every oscillator’s wet dream back in 2007.
So now 12 years later I got the opportunity to play around with the Beta version, before it’s official drop end of June. ↓

In addition to this project i created two more demos for these two add-ons. I had the opportunity to add two expansions into this Beast of a plug-in. Both are included on the Native Instruments website for demonstration purposes.
The Demo „Pacific“ was created for the DRIVE Expansion using Dream Wave, Chilled Lips and Beyond Jupiter presets. „Angel Corrosion“ on the other hand was created for the RUSH Expansion pack using Mexicano, Blue Jupiter, Harp X, Hydro Oxygen and Evil Hoover presets.
